⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was my second visit seeing 2:22 A Ghost Story and it didn't disappoint. I saw it with a friend who has been desperate to see it for a while. We sat on the front row of the Grand Circle. We did have to sit on a slight angle as the safety bar was in the way, but it was still a good view.
The show is about a woman named Jenny who is convinced her house is haunted after hearing sounds in the night. Her husband and friends decided to have a night vigil to try and discover the truth! If you want to read a full synopsis of the show, click the button at the bottom! This was a brand new cast from the first time seeing it.
Jamie Winstone was Jenny and she was brilliant, with her showing all the emotions of a protective mother perfectly.
Clifford Samuel is Sam, who is Jenny's husband. He discovers the haunting after being away, and is not convinced the haunting is real. He is a brilliant actor who is really good at playing the ghost-sceptic
Sophia Bush is playing Lauren. She is brilliant at trying to be mediator between Jenny and Sam, and when she confronts Sam over their past, i actually got goosebumps!
Lastly is Ricky Champ as Ben. Ricky is the only cast member i have heard of (after being on eastenders) and he was the the stand out cast member for me. His ability to go from simpleton to actually solving the mystery is amazing.
The set is exactly the same as my first time, except with the request at the end not to spoil the show! This reminds me of the ending of Mousetrap. This time round there is some merchandise from pin, magnet and t-shirt!
I am planning on seeing this show again when it starts its UK tour and i urge you to see this show either in London or local theatre.
Just be ready to jump!
