2024 has been packed with Musical Theatre highlights, from seeing old favourites, ticking off bucket list shows to seeing brand new shows that came onto my radar! So here is my 2024 highlights, hope 2025 is just a busy!

Choir of Man

One of my all time favourite shows, The Choir of Man is a guaranteed show to put a smile on your face. The songs are amazing, the set is brilliant but the main selling point is the fantastic cast! The finale song, Some Nights is one of my favourite musical songs of all time!

Sister Act

Sister Act has been like waiting for buses for me this year. Having waited years to see it again, i managed to see it 3 times this year! The West End version was amazing, with Ruth Jones playing Mother Superio who was amazing and the specualtor Beverley Knight as Deloris Van Cartierbeverley knight

Wicked

It had been almost 10 years since i last saw this show at MK Theatre so thought it was finally time to see it on the West End and it didnt disappoint! The amazing show, with the huge dragon above the stage was one of favourite pieces. The cast was amazing and the music was perfect. Defying Gravity gave me goosebumps but my favourite has to be Dancing Through Life!

Wicked

Starlight Express

I had heard so much about this show, so when it was finally announced to be coming to London i knew i had to see it. So this year i have seen it twice and both times fanatastic. The skating is wow, the stage is amazing with all the cast going around the audience and the music is really catchy!

Kathy and Stella Solve a Murder.

This was a show i discovered at this years West End Live, and it was brillant. The songs are brilliant, i have them on a loop on spotify! The story was amazing, and hard to work out who was the murderer! I pray this show comes back either on tour or in the west end as it will be murder not see this show again!

Book of Mormon

This show has been on the list for years and i finally seen it, and it was perfect. It was funny and the scenery was wow. It was great to finally see the songs performed rather than on spotify, which meant a couple of the songs and references finally made sense! I will not leave it long till i see this show again!

The Book of Mormon

The Little Big Things Managed to see this show twice this year before it closed and it is still one of my favourite shows of all time. The music and the cast all perfect. It gave me tears of laughter and saddness throughout the show. Luckily it is currently showing on the National Theatre Live service but i pray it comes back to a theatre soon!

The Little Big Things

The Lion King

Its been a few years since i visited the Pride Lands and i loved every minute of it. The pupperty was fantastic, especially Timon and Pumba. The set was was breath-taking, the standout was the scene with Simba being chased by the wildebeast. The original songs are still a standout and even bring me to tears as soo good!

Six

Its Six, no words needed to describe my love of this show!
