I have been a fan of Alan Carr for ages on TV but this was the first time seeing him live on stage, and he didn't let down!
He opened with his warm-up act, Louise Young, who deserves her own show! She was hysterical (megabus turkey sign 🤣) and was open with her past. Her comments on Primark quality (2 washes and they dissappear into the atmosphere, the reason why the range is called Atmosphere) will stay with me forever!
Alan Carr himself was brillaint, his opening comments with the rivalry between Northampton and MK was really funny. Being from Northampton myself, everything he said was true!
His comments on lockdown and the one way systems in Supermarkets, i was crying with laughter. BUT his piece about alpacas having a trip to a care home was the point I literally hyperventilating with laughter 🤣🤣🤣.
If both comedians come to a theatre near you I urge you to get a ticket!
