Storyline:
The musical is set in a post-apocalyptic version of Manhattan. It tells the story of the romance between Strat, one of a group of people, the Lost, who are young forever thanks to a DNA mutation, and Raven, daughter of the tyrannical Falco, who runs the city. Raven has wanted to break free of her parents hold, and runs away to the Lost! The Lost are in a fight with Obsidian, run by Falco, as they want to break the hold they have over the city! The show is loosely set around the story of Peter Pan with Raven worried about living with Strat who is permanently 18, and Tink who is jealous and sabotage their relationship by doing a deal with Ravens father.
Songs:
The musical does a brilliant job at intertwining the works of Jim Steinman and Meatloaf! Songs such as Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Dead Ringer for Love and of course Bat Out of Hell are used perfectly and will have you humming in your seat!
Seat
Sat in Upper Circle AA 14. Have sat in these seats before and they are well worth the price. You have a perfect view, and can make out the facial expressions of the cast!
Merchandise
There was a wide choice of T-Shirts with various logo's and slogans on. Also Keyrings, Magnets, Pens on sale as well. 2 programs are available to purchase with information of the show, pictures and the 2nd with information about the show and future shows at the venue
Final Thought
This version is different in some parts to what was originally at the West End, but if you want a great evening out then this is the show for you. I wont be taking any responsibility for the songs staying in your head!
