⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Storyline:
If you are a fan of musicals and classic pop songs, you might enjoy watching Jersey Boys, a show that follows the creation of the Frankie Vallie and The Four Seasons, including the highs of their careers and the eventual split of the group. The show features many of their hit songs, such as "Sherry", "Big Girls Don't Cry", and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", as well as the stories behind them. You will also learn about the personal struggles and conflicts that the band members faced, such as debt, crime, family issues, and betrayal. Jersey Boys is a captivating and entertaining show that will make you laugh, cry, and sing along.
Cast
The cast was perfect ! Michael Pickering was absolutely brilliant as Frankie Valli. His singing was just like the real Frankie Valli, and his ability to show emotion was wow! I was in tears when he sang Fallen Angel after the death of his daughter. Blair Gibson was a amazing as Bob Gaudio! Christopher Short was hysterical as Nick Massi. He was constantly serious but still managed to make everyone laugh when he said "I think I want to start my own band!" Dalton Wood was a brilliant as Tommy DeVito!
Songs
If you go in not knowing any of the Frankie Vallie and The Four Seasons songs, this show will trigger your memory. The cast perform the songs brilliantly, dare i say some of the songs better than the original. You cant fail to laugh during December 1963 [Oh, What A Night], or feel the emotion of My Eyes Adored You.
Merchandise:
There is plenty of merchandise to purchase from T-Shirts, Pins, Magnets, CD. There is a program produced by the theatre, but no souvenir picture program which was available on previous tour versions and the current London Production.
Seat:
Stalls Row Q Seat 1 . This seat offered brilliant views of the stage at a relatively good price. They also offered easy access and quick exit at the end to avoid the usual bottleneck rush,
The Final Score:
This was the th time seeing this show and it didnt fail to live up to the past times! The energy from the cast cant fail to make you smile! I don't know if it was just at this venue but unfortunately there was no megamix this time which was a slight disappointment but didn't ruin the show!
Jersey Boys is a captivating and entertaining show that will make you laugh, cry, and sing along, if you are in London go and see this show at the Trafalgar Theatre until 2nd October 2022, or see it at your local theatre when arrives on its UK tour!
