This was the second time seeing this show and it is still a perfect show!

& Juliet is a musical comedy that reimagines the classic tragedy of Shakespeare as a modern romp. The show follows the playwright and his wife Anne Hathaway as they rewrite the story of Romeo and Juliet, giving the heroine a new chance at love and adventure. Juliet escapes her fate of death and nunnery and runs away to Paris with her friends and nanny. There she meets Francois, a charming Frenchman who proposes to her on a whim. But their romance is complicated by the return of Romeo, who faked his death and still loves Juliet. The show also features hilarious subplots involving Juliet's friends May and Anne, who fall for Francois and his brother respectively, and Juliet's nanny Lance, who rekindles an old flame with Francois's father. The show is full of witty dialogue, catchy songs and spectacular scenes that will make you laugh and cry. & Juliet is a perfect show for anyone who loves Shakespeare, comedy and musicals.`

One of the most remarkable aspects of the musical comedy series is how it incorporates popular songs into its narrative and characters. The show does not simply use the songs as background music or filler, but rather as a way of expressing the emotions and motivations of the protagonists. The show also reinterprets the songs in creative and original ways, often surpassing the quality and impact of the original versions. For example, the show's rendition of Teenage Dream is more heartfelt and poignant than the original, reflecting the complex relationship between two of the main characters. The show also uses Roar as a fitting finale song for its final season, showcasing the growth and empowerment of its heroine Juliet, who literally rises above her challenges and celebrates her achievements with confetti raining down on her.

If you are looking for a show that will make you smile, clap, and feel happy, then you should not miss & Juliet!

The show features dazzling costumes, catchy songs, and stunning choreography that will leave you breathless. I watched the show at London's West End, where it runs until 25th March 2023. I sat in the stalls, T 1&2 and the view was perfect! I could see every detail of the stage and enjoy the performances without any obstruction. The seats also had easy access to the bar and toilets, which was very convenient during the interval. I would highly recommend these seats to anyone who wants to have a memorable experience at the theatre. The show is also on in New York's Broadway, and a UK tour has been confirmed for 2024. Don't miss this opportunity to see one of the most spectacular shows of our time!
