Curtain Call

This was the final time i could visit before it closes on the 2nd March and i left a emotional wreck! Even thought i knew what was coming, i still got emotional at "One to Seventeen" performed by Linzi Hateley, laughed at the monopoly costumes in the song "Things We Shouldn't Do" performed by Amy Trigg and the rest of the cast, and cried with happiness at the song "Guide You" performed by Ed Larkin and Jonny Amies. That song was absolutely perfect with the confetti shooting out filling the auditorium with colour!

The energy from the entire cast was off the scales during this performance, The last 3 times they had so much energy, but this time was WOW! Every song and dance routine just seemed to have a extra spark to them.

This musical has really made its mark on me. From seeing it perform the title song at West End Live 2023, to the soundtrack making my top 3 in my Spotify Wrapped. I feel so happy to have seen it four times, and i when i saw it was closing i felt devastated. As the curtain call was happening during the performance i was almost in tears knowing the last time i will see it in person. I pray that it come back to the West End or a live version released.

If you are in London or planning on going to London in the next few weeks, get to Soho Place and see this amazing show before it closes on Saturday 2nd March 2024!

The Little Big Things Stage

Since seeing the preview of this show at this year's West End Live event i have been trying to get a ticket to see this show and on the 27th October i finally had the pleasure of watching the show and I have to say, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! The musical is based on the bestselling book by Henry Fraser, who became paralyzed from the shoulders down after a freak accident while on holiday with his brothers in Portugal. The book and the musical tell the story of how he overcame his challenges and learned to appreciate the little things in life.

The musical is a masterpiece of storytelling, music, and performance. The songs are catchy, uplifting, and emotional, capturing the highs and lows of Henry's journey. The actors are phenomenal, especially the leads who play Henry with such authenticity and charisma. The stage design is creative and immersive, using props, lights, and projections to create different settings and moods.

The musical is not only entertaining, but also inspiring and moving. It shows how Henry faced his fears, doubts, and frustrations with courage, humor, and optimism. It also shows how his family, friends, and supporters helped him along the way, giving him hope and love. The musical reminds us that we all have challenges in life, but we can overcome them if we focus on the little big things that matter.

The Little Big Things Musical is a must-see for anyone who loves music, drama, and inspiration. It will make you laugh, cry, and cheer. It will make you appreciate your own life and the people in it. It will make you feel alive. Don't miss this incredible show! It has now been extended till February 2024!
